British Council's Songs

The British Council's website is a perfect source for all kind of activities in English as a Foreign Language teaching. Focused on the blog's topic, we can find a section just for songs: learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/songs

Each song has a video with it's lyrics on it. The images are really attractive for children. One of the most interesting things of this website is that every song has a ICT game and three or four worksheets working on the topic.

The songs usually work vocabulary like clothing, numbers, colours, jobs... But this page also offers traditional English songs like "Twinkle, Twinkle little star", "Old MacDonald" or "She''ll be coming round the mountain". This helps children to learn more about the English culture.
